Revealed the Iraqi government, the end of the file for armed groups, and said that all the forces and armed groups that have faced American troops abandoned their weapons and engaged in the political process, stressing that there is no excuse to take up arms after the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq.
An advisor to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for national reconciliation Amer Khuzaie, in the first conference of national reconciliation, which was held in Baghdad, Thursday, that "the movements and armed groups laid down its arms, which was carrying general of U.S. forces and is ready to engage in the political process." He Khuzaie that "several armed groups such as the army and the Islamic movement al-Naqshbandi, revolted and League of the Righteous post today in the National Reconciliation Conference and will enter all of the political process." He Khuzaie saying that "the Iraqi government did not grant these armed movements or positions of any privileges as a condition for engaging in political action, but the excuse to bear arms by these groups remains after the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq." The items include a political agreement that was concluded prior to the formation of the government within the initiative of President of Kurdistan region Masoud Barzani, the application of the national reconciliation project more broadly to include all Iraqis without exception. But those based on national reconciliation project emphasized the lack of any reconciliation with members of the Baath Party, which ruled Iraq under the previous regime on the grounds that the constitution prohibits it.
