Confirmed that the General Company for Post & Telecommunications of the Ministry of Communications «restart the system, public telephones, which are smart cards prepaid in Baghdad and several provinces». Said Samir Ali Hassoun spokesman's spokesman in a press release yesterday: »The Angels specialized system of public telephones has been able to re- rehabilitation and operation of the system in record time after the receipt of the mainframe computer and complete the examination of laboratory equipment ». He added: »that citizens can now make calls through these phones deployed in offices, universities and some of the ministries of smart cards used by the former being still retain Bersdtha and effectiveness. He called on departments and ministries and the private sector to «submit their applications at the headquarters of the General Company for communications in order to set up public telephones in the departments». The «public telephone system stopped working due to malfunction of the mainframe computer was importing a new computer with a previous repair and completion of installation and trial operation by more than two weeks».
