Erbil Jan. 15 (PNA) - The head of the executive body of the Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea, on Saturday, his party's leadership Kurdish relations as historic, noting that his party will support the demands of the Christians of Iraq, through to his extensive relationships.
Geagea said in a press conference in Arbil, "The relations of the Lebanese Forces, the Kurdish leadership is the historical relations, harmony stems from the intellectual and political struggle and bilateral conditions and challenges faced by the teams."
Geagea urged "that the Christians raise their voices to demand their rights, and cut off from central government," noting that "Lebanese forces would stand with their demands, including the development of the province in the plain of Nineveh through extensive relations enjoyed by the party."
Geagea explained that "the battle of Christians in Iraq is in for a real application of democracy, citizenship and ensure the" unlikely "they need to defend their views in a free system, and the State of considers all citizens are equal regardless of the N sectarian or religious affiliations."
The head of the executive body of the Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea arrived the day before yesterday to Arbil on Thursday in an official visit at the invitation of the Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani for the development of bilateral relations between the two sides.
