Baghdad (AIN) –Member of the Citizen bloc, Mohamed al-Lakash, called to "involve all the political blocs even those which did not win the last elections in the next national conference."
He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "We call all the blocs to participate in the conference because it is called national which means it should involve all national sides."
"We call to announce the results of the conference, which should be in harmony with the constitution, before all Iraqis," he concluded.
The President, Jalal Talabani has called to hold a national conference to settle the disputes among the political blocs. The conference will be held at the end of January.
The preparatory committee, which comprises ten MPs represent the political blocs, is decided held its first meeting on last Sunday.
The political process witnesses complicated disputes especially between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition when the IS decided to suspend attendance of its MPs to parliament sessions to protest “marginalization and monopolization policies” adopted by the Iraqi government and the accusations against the guards of the Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi for being involved in terrorism in addition to Maliki’s decision to dismiss his deputy Salih al-Mutleg. /End/
