Baghdad (AIN)-Independent MP Hassan al-Alawi, called in a statement on Monday to “Cancel holding the National conference which was called for by the President, Jalal Talabani, in order not to leave people build castles on sand inticipating its results.”
He said “Waiting for this conference makes the deceiving time continues.”
“I wish not to hold this conference to stop deceiving ourselves and the Iraqi people," he added.
"Yesterday the Preparatory Committee held it meeting, but Talabani will not return from his medical treatment trip to Germany before five weeks at least, which means that the political crisis will last till March,” MP Alawi concluded. /End/
