Maliki denies providing any financial assistance to Syria

BAGHDAD / Oszac Iraq: Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Tuesday, to provide any financial assistance to the regime in Syria, noting that the nature of the control of Iraqi funds is not the prerogative of the Prime Minister for the unit.
Maliki said in an interview broadcast by Arab satellite that "Iraq can not offer any financial assistance to Syria," noting that "the Iraqi regime today is governed by a constitutional mechanism does not

Maliki said that "we managed to persuade the Syrian side of the signing of the protocols observers of the Arab League and our initiatives to resolve the crisis still exists and we have contacts with opposition leaders, and our intervention is to find a national consensus for the stability of Syria because their stability will affect the region."
Maliki and saw that "our choice is Syria stable, and our desire is to achieve free elections in Syria and we are not concerned about the continuing Arab spring, and we hope to reach a draft solution to achieving freedom and the formation of parties and elections under international supervision so not getting interference from outside Syria."
