Kirkuk (AIN) –MP Hajim al-Hassani of the State of Law Coalition survived an assassination attempt when an Adhesive Explosive Device (AED) exploded into one of his motorcade’s vehicles in Kirkuk province on Wednesday evening.
Security source stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) on Wednesday "An AED attached to a vehicle of the MP’s motorcade exploded killing a person and wounding another of his bodyguards while the MP remained unharmed."
The source added, "The explosion took place near the Technical Institute in Kirkuk province." \End\
