Limited to the ration card with 2.5 million people

Said the Parliamentary Commission of Economy they had developed a plan to determine the number of Iraqis who actually needs the ration card items, stressing that the plan expires in 2015 and seeks to reduce the number of beneficiaries to 2.5 million people.
And Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission of Economy Ahmed Alwani that «the parliamentary Economic Committee has developed an action plan with the government to deliver the number of beneficiaries of the ration card items to two and a half million».
He continued to block the card program for those who earn more than a million and a half million dinars monthly salary in order to develop quality products that are distributed to the poor Iraqis.
He added that «the financial allocations earmarked in the draft of the country's budget for the current year is not enough to fill the shortage in the ration card items and improve the quality of materials that are distributed within the ration card items», indicating that «the budget allocated six billion dollars to the ration card».
