A new law stringent conditions for the granting of work permits and weapons to the security companies

Said a member of the Commission on Security and Defense Council of Representatives Abbas al-Bayati, a bill intended for first reading to the Committee includes strict conditions for the granting of work permits and the type of weapon and the workspace of the security companies.
And al-Bayati said in a press statement on Wednesday that "the number of companies decreased from 124 to 80 then to 63 companies operating at present, including 15 to 20 foreign, and the rest of the Iraqis."
On the other hand, said Committee Chairman MP Hassan Sinead, "The committee recently called for a review of leave granted to existing security companies in Iraq after the exercise of some of the biggest roles of their validity," he said.
In a related development, Deputy Chairman of the Legal Prince Kanani said, "There are violations practiced by some of those companies by the licenses granted to them previously, calling for an inventory of the remaining of them in terms of vehicles and people and the nature of the work or the tasks entrusted to it and the reasons for their presence and give them leave, in accordance with established controls and to refer the violation of which the courts Iraqi criminal. / 2
