KARBALA / Aswat al-Iraq: The First Deputy Governor of Karbala disclosed today that he called on Premier Nouri al-Maliki to increase the financial allocations of the province, pointing out that there is a great immigration from other provinces, which were not counted within the census of the province.

Abbas Hameed al-Mussawi told Aswat al-Iraq that the meeting was held in a meeting with Premier Maliki in Hindiya area, 20 km east of Kerbela, where it was pointed out that the province receives 191 trillion dinars for 2012, which is not enough to the present population in the province.

He pointed out that thousands of families lodged here and bought new residences, which should be compensated in their ration allowances, he added.
