The statement went on to say that the price of department of food and non-alcoholic beverages registered an increase during the month of January 2012 rate of 1.6% compared to the previous month, due to higher prices in the central region at 3.0% in the South a rate of 0.9% while prices have decreased in the Kurdistan region by 1.7% , the main reason for rising prices of this section at the level of Iraq, mainly due to the high prices of vegetables and fish.
