BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Human Rights Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani called on the European Union to facilitate the immigration requests of some of Iranian opposition organization of Mujahidi Khalq.
During his meeting with EU ambassador to Baghdad, Jana Haibshkova, al-Sudani
called to accommodate them in a third country, as ministry's statement said.
Haibshkova praised the role of the ministry in moving the Ashraf camp residents to a new one, stressing readiness to provide assistance to cultural projects in Iraq.
She questioned the death sentences implemented in Iraq, but the minister confirmed that all these verdicts were made against dangerous criminals and terrorists.
