The envoy said President Talabani after meeting with President Abdelaziz Bouteflika in Algiers, and handed over the letter of invitation addressed by the President of the Republic, President Bouteflika "confirmed his intention to preside over the Algerian delegation which will participate in the meetings of the Arab summit of the 23 to be held in Baghdad on 29 next March" , indicating Anis Bouteflika was "deeply interactive with Iraq's desire to unite the Arab discourse during the Arab summit, to ensure that achieve the highest degree of understanding about Arab issues crucial."
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, began an official tour to invite the leaders of four countries, namely Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Mauritania to attend the Arab summit to be held in Baghdad on 29 March.
The tour included the transfer of which the Iraqi government's call to the leaders of the Maghreb countries to participate in the Baghdad summit, including inviting the King of Morocco Mohammed VI and Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz and President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki.
The Arab League has postponed Arab summit which was scheduled to be held in Baghdad in March 2011 to March 2012, at the request of an Iraqi consensus after the Arab Member States in view of the events witnessed by the Arab world during the year 2011. The Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Ben Helli, that Iraq is able to ensure the success of the Arab summit, and that he is entering a phase during which he will head the Arab action. / Finished / 21
