BAGHDAD, March 5 (AKnews) - The Iraqi Oil Ministry has recommended the Kurdistan Regional Government increase its oil exports from 65 barrels per day (bpd) to 175 bpd, earlier today.
The Iraqi Oil Minister Abdul Karim Luaibi told AKnews that Kurdistan Region's government must export 175,000 bpd this year in line with a previous agreement between Baghdad and Erbil.
Iraq is seeking to increase production capacity in the coming years to 12 million barrels a day.
