Mr. Hakim confirmed during his meeting with EU ambassadors to the need to help Iraq out of Chapter VII
Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq during a meeting with EU ambassadors in Iraq need to help him out of Chapter VII.
A source in the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council that "Mr Hakim received in his office on Saturday and the European Union ambassadors were meeting in In Search of the political situation in the country."
He added, "Mr. Hakim emphasized the need for Iraq to benefit from the experience of EU countries in the spirit of citizenship among the people."
He said al-Hakim, according to the source, "The European Union could provide more assistance to Iraq because it represents the heart of the world and that Iraq represents the heart of the Middle East, it is possible that there will be an alliance between Iraq and the European Union," adding that "this alliance will have dimensions of strategy ".
He called on EU states to "provide further assistance in the area of scholarships for Iraqi students."
He also asked "to provide support for the success of the project, capital of Basra, Iraq's economic development as it will contribute to the business side between the EU and Iraq." / 3
