Baghdad (AIN) –Iraqi Minister of Construction MoCH and Housing headed a delegation to the Republic of South Korea to participate in the seventh round of the Iraqi-Korean joint committee.
A statement announced by the Ministery of Housing and Construction said that “The committee which is headed by Iraq, includes representatives of all the Iraqi Ministries, will discuss three main subjects; the first is the economic cooperation and the possibilities for the Korean companies to implement construction projects in Iraq according to understanding covenant signed between the MoCH and KFCIS company in 2009 and to conduct training courses for the Iraqi Engineering staff and to activate oil and gas covenant signed is Seoul in 2011 in addition to discussing many other projects in electricity, health, agricultural, water resources and transportation fields.”
“The second subject is about the trade and financial cooperation which will include activating the understanding covenant signed between Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and their Korean counterparts to implement number of project in the financial and trade fields,” the statement added.
The statement also mentioned that “The third subject will include cooperation in educational, cultural, scientific and artistic fields.” /End/
