Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqiya Slate’s MP Salim Deli pointed out that “The Iraqiya Slate might not attend the National Meeting if it was held after the Arab Summit.”
He stated to All Iraq News Agency Tuesday “The IS will not attend the National Meeting if it was not held before the Arab Summit at the end of March 2012 since some political sides try to procrastinate settling the current political crisis.”
“We demand to hold the National Meeting before holding the Arab Summit in order to head to the Summit with a united speech to convince the Arab leaderships that the Iraqi political blocs are united and capable for leading the country towards safety without need for foreign interferences,” MP Deli added.
The Iraqi Slate has called several times to hold the National Meeting before holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad by the end of March.
The leader of the IS Ayad Allawi has also threatened to “discuss the Iraqi political disputes at the meetings of the Summit.” /End/
