Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Iraqi National Alliance Ibrahim al-Jaafary assured that “The political blocs are determined to meet under the title of the National Meeting in order to discuss all disputes and remaining troubles.”
In his speech at the commemoration of the Mohammed Baqir al-Sadr’s Martyrdom Anniversary, Jaafary said “The Iraqi National Alliance submitted a project which was accepted by the Iraqiya Slate and the Kurdistani Alliance before the Arab Summit where the details of the National Meeting were postponed till post the Summit.”
Jaafary stressed that “Blocs should consider that gains must be for the sake of Iraq rather than for partisan or personal interests to continue the successes achieved by holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad to bring Iraq ahead of Arab Countries.”
The Martyr al-Sadr deserves to commemorate him by words and actions due to his great sacrifices, according to Jaafary. /End/
