Central bank: Iran sanctions do not include transactions food

BAGHDAD / Bri Center for the Iraqi Media Network - The Central Bank of Iraq sanctions on the Iranian side does not include transactions food and humanitarian.
The high-level government delegation had ended his visit last week to Iran.
Said Bank Governor Sinan al-Shabibi's (Brief Center for IMN) that "trade relations with regard to food with Iran will go back to normal because it is covered by the draft UN sanctions."
He added that "Iraq will abide Balaqrart internationalism regarding sanctions on Iran."
And Washington tightened sanctions on Iran as long Iran's central bank recently awarded U.S. banks new powers to freeze assets associated with the Iranian government.
The action taken by Washington was the latest in a part of an escalating campaign to fill gaps in sanctions on Tehran over its nuclear program.
The Central Bank is an independent body to regulate the banking sector to promote a competitive financial system and independently between government and private banks and foreign.
