An Iraqi court has sentenced an American life after being convicted of links to al-Qaeda.
According to the copy of the judgment published by the Iraqi Interior Ministry on its Web site today that Omar Rashad Khalil, an American of Palestinian origin, was arrested in 2010 and accused of helping to finance and implement "terrorist operations" in Iraq.
According to the ruling by the Central Criminal Court in Baghdad Wednesday that Khalil in his fifties and working as an engineer and nicknamed Abu Mohammed.
