Planning launches five-year plan for the years 2013-2017

Baghdad/follow-up to bright:-Ministry of planning and development cooperation it will launch a five-year plan for the years/2013-2017/the end of the month after making amendments. Ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra Hindawi told the national Iraqi News Agency: "the task of the Iraqi economy, and prepared in accordance with the latest development methods, since they contain a holistic view of development and the achievement of objectives and targets that rely on various aspects in the economy". He: "that the budget plan has reached about/470/billion dollars, would give the energy sector/petroleum and electricity/, which are of the utmost importance to raise Iraq's imports and investment. Hindawi said: "the next five-year plan will contribute to the preparation of national alstratigiat to build the country in accordance with sound plans to ensure correct drawbacks in work in all sectors."

Member of the Committee on the economy and investment the National Alliance Deputy//abdulabbas sheyaa, the five-year plan developed by the Ministry of planning will strengthen the national economy and diversity of financial income and will adopt the next budgets on oil revenues.
Sheyaa said (to news agency news) on Saturday: Ministry of planning in the process of preparing a five-year economic development plan (2013-2017) in cooperation with the relevant ministries and provincial councils, State financial revenue diversification and reduce dependence on revenue generated by oil sales first.
He added: the plan will stimulate other economic sectors such as tourism, agriculture and industry for the purpose of advancement as well as activate the tariff and tax measures to diversify the Federal revenue in the general budget.
He noted: the total oil revenue dependence poses a threat to the national economy, to the region and the world if political tensions and threats that directly affect oil prices or move such as the closing off the Strait of Hormuz or the like, must work to diversify sources of national income.
The Ministry of planning a five-year plan for economic and development are performed (2013-2017) with all ministries and the relevant authorities.
