Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Mahdi Haji, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out "The share of Kurdistan Region of the federal budget has been set by the Committee that drafted the constitution since the beginning of the political process."
He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "The Committee agreed to keep the percentage of 17% of the budget allocated for KR till conducting the census."
"Article 140 of the constitution involved three stages that are the normalization, the census and the referendum which will identify the percentage of the Kurds in all the areas involved in Article 140," he assured.
Most of the sides do not object allocating 170% for the Kurdish community but they object allocating it to the three provinces of Kurdistan Region.
