Barazani, Italian Ambassador review the political process, current situation

Baghdad (NINA) – President of Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barazani, reviewed with Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Massimo Maruti, Iraq's political process and its current developments, as well as in the area.
A statement issued on Wednesday, March 6, by the Presidency of Kurdistan Region, said that Barazani met with the new Italian Ambassador that the delegation accompanying him, wishing him success in his new post toward consolidating the relations between Italy and Kurdistan Region.
For his part, Ambassador Maruti pointed out that the relations between his country and the Region is going through an outstanding period, and there are efforts being exerted to consolidate them. He stressed that his country is politically and economically committed toward the Region and has a large contributions in the fields of its antiquities, health, higher education and in helping refugees.
