Iraq is preparing to invest 10 gas exploration sites

Preparing Iraq , to put new licenses to invest 10 locations to explore gas , in front of international companies during the current year, is the fifth of its kind since 2009, according to the spokesman of the Ministry of Oil, Assem Jihad, adding that the announcement will be after the completion of the required documents.
According to DSM, Iraq is planning to invest about $ 175 billion in the oil sector during the next five years, in order to raise the rate of its production to 9 million barrels per day.
It is worth mentioning that Iraq has the third oil reserves in the world, an estimated 143 billion barrels and 3.2 trillion cubic meters of gas, which is the highest reserves in the world.
