Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Wednesday that “Any cooperation in oil sector between the Region with Turkey will abide by the Iraqi constitution.”
A statement by KR Cabinet cited on Wednesday “KR Cabinet held on Wednesday its regular meeting headed by the KR Premier, Najervan Barzani where he talked about the recent visit of the Kurdish delegation to each of Turkey and Germany.”
Concerning the visit to German, Najervan said “Our visit to German was to participate in a conference over the energy where we met with the German Advisor, Angela Merkel,” pointing out that “We called on her to support the oil policy of Kurdistan, where we expressed our readiness to support Europe in field of exporting crude oil across Turkey.”
“As for the Kurdish delegation to Turkey, KR Premier shed light on his meeting with the Turkish Premier, Rajab Tayib Erdogan, where they discussed the peace process and the efforts exerted to settle the Turkish issue in Turkey peacefully,” the statement concluded.
