Chapter I: Establishment and objectives
Article 1: A Ministry called the Ministry of Agriculture] enjoys legal personality and represented by the Minister of Agriculture or his nominee.
Article 2: The aim of the Ministry of Agriculture to achieve agricultural development and agricultural research to develop the production process and provide services in the fields of plant and animal production and dissemination of modern farming methods and to provide agricultural inputs and development work in the areas of prevention, guidance and cooperation, training and livestock services and to work on the application of agricultural legislations for the purpose of access to the sufficiency Self and achieve food security.
Article 3: Ministry seeks to achieve its objectives by the following means:
First policy-oriented agricultural activities according to the foundations established by the state to achieve agricultural development.

VII provision and marketing of devices and sprinkler irrigation systems and drip irrigation.

IX coordination and cooperation with the Iraqi scientific and non-Iraqi relationship, which would contribute to the development and strengthening of the agricultural process.

XI propose legislation relating to agriculture, development, protection and means.
Chapter II: the Minister.
Article 4 First Minister is the Supreme Head of the Ministry and is responsible for implementing and directing its functions and shall exercise control and supervision of the activities and events and good performance, and emit laws and instructions, decisions and orders in all matters pertaining to the ministry technical and administrative, financial and legal
