Asadi: We will provide security to journalism media, will pursue aggressors regardless of their affiliation

Baghdad (NINA) – Interior Undersecretary, Adnan al-Asadi, affirmed that the Ministry will work toward providing security to all journalism media outlets.
A statement issued on Wednesday, Apr. 3, by the Ministry of Interior, quoted Asadi while visiting news papers attacked, two days ago, saying, "Law above all, and the Ministry of Interior is the law's arm and will pursue criminals who commit acts that violate Iraq's law, regardless of their affiliation."
He added that the Ministry will provide security to all information media, stressing the necessity for such media to cooperate with the Ministry of Interior by installing observation cameras that can be go back to in such terrorist attacks.
Asadi ordered punishing security forces on duty near attacked news papers when attacks occurred.
On Monday, unknown groups attacked offices of the daily "Mustaqbal al-Iraqi" setting it and the car of its Editor in Chief on fire; another groups attacked the daily "al-Nass" and "al-Dostur". / End.
