Maysan (AIN) –The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, pointed out “There is depression and disappointment in the new Iraq since not all dreams have come true.”
He added during his speech delivered in a ceremony held in Maysan Province “We might be disappointed because we have not achieved all our ambitions in the new Iraq due to negligence from this side or that, but we have agreed to adopt Democracy as a work plan in our political process,” noting “We have to invest this democracy to make the change and achieve our ambitions.”
