The list of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has won the majority of seats in local councils in seven of the 12 provinces who participated in the regional elections of April 20, according to official results published Saturday. It has been postponed to Anbar and Nineveh for safety reasons and should take place later.
