Daami: PM has the right to appoint security ministers

Karbala (NINA) - MP from the Iraqiya Slate, Mohammed Al Daami, said the Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki has the right to appoint security ministers.
He said to NINA correspondent today "we believe in the right man in the right place, so, it is the Premier’s right to appoint security ministers because a right security situation should be built."
Daami added "some of the names put forward by the IS for the Ministry of Defense were refused by PM, the same happened when the PM presented some names that were rejected by the IS."
He pointed out to the need that the candidates for the security ministries should have experience, clarifying "there are people with more than 35 years in the military service with high ranks and are capable of leading the security ministries."
He mentioned that the IS, nominated Shaker Kitab for the Ministry of Defense within the names submitted earlier.
