His Excellency the Minister of Planning meets with the Executive Director of the United Nations Fund for Population

Search Planning Minister Prof. Dr. Ali Yousef Shukri with the Executive Director of the United Nations Fund for Population (Mr. Baba Tonka) relationship with the Fund in the framework of population policies implemented by Aztalaa Iraq under the memoranda of cooperation and understanding between the two sides.
This came during a meeting with HE Mr. Tonka in Cairo on the sidelines of the Arab Regional Conference on Population and Development.
The Minister reviewed during the meeting what Iraq has achieved important steps in terms of population policies and marked by the formation of the Supreme Council for Population and Iraq's readiness to support the efforts of the United Nations Fund for Population.
For his part, Mr. (Tonka) was pleased to enable Iraq to achieve .. Indicating that the working population which is implemented by the Iraqi government level was OK and was in accordance with the principles and standards set by the United Nations .. Expressing his willingness Fund to support the Iraqi government effort to implement the general census of the population and that Iraq had previously embarked on the implementation of a number of important steps in the framework of its readiness for this event in collaboration mg United Nations Fund for Population.
