An extended conference in Arbil, Kurdistan, Egypt, between the activation of economic relations
Held in Arbil on Sunday, an expanded economic conference between the Kurdistan region and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the presence of businessmen and chambers of commerce from both sides, to discuss ways to create economic agreements, trade and joint investment.
He said the Egyptian Commercial Consul Omar Hazza at the conference which was attended by the correspondent of the agency all of Iraq, [where] on Thursday that "the size of the Egyptian investment in the Kurdistan region of $ 350 million, and it is hoped to increase the volume of investment at the end of this year."
He added that "there is a delegation of Egypt (40) a diversified company will visit the Kurdistan next week," he said, adding that "the beginning of next July, will meet another trade and mutual visits of business people from both sides and the opening of offices of the Egyptian companies in Kurdistan."
For his part, President of the Chamber of Commerce in the region of his home Jalil Khayat at the conference "The Kurdistan Region hopes to open the door to investment relations and economic ties with the Egyptian side that has the potential and wide in industry and commerce, it is hoped to devote real cooperation between the two sides in next July,".
