Emphasized economic researcher that the citizen does not want to pay taxes, unless the services are of sectors, and expected a so-called tax evasion with the growing corruption.
The Central Bank of Iraq has confirmed that treatment of economic problems require expansion of activities of tax in the country and make sweeping reforms in administrative dealings the General Authority for taxes of the Ministry of Finance.
said Hussein Star yesterday that the tax is important for the economy in all parts of the world, but in return obtaining tax offset by the presence of services to convince citizens that the tax system system Magdi is effective.
He said: If we compare the Iraqi citizen with a British note that the British citizen gives approximately (60%) of the income tax return for first-class service, and the Iraqi gives a tax and does not get the services of a real concrete, and this is what we observe the deterioration of the health sector, electricity and infrastructure.
He explained: to provide the economy and sectors in the provision of quality services, not taxes can be provided free of charge and this will make the citizens escape from the tax and therefore there will financial corruption.
