Interior: the decline in murders by 60 percent and we still need U.S. support

Baghdad, August 11 / August (Rn) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Intelligence Affairs, on Thursday, the ministry recorded a significant decrease in the rate of assassinations, arms seals and sticky bombs since last month and so far, and reached more than 60 percent, at the time confirmed that the intelligence services still need to support the American side in the field of training.
Said Maj. Gen. Hussein Kamal, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) "since last month and up to now and we are seeing a significant reduction in assassinations carried out by guns silenced and explosive lenses and reached more than 60%," adding that "there is developed as a result of the efforts of security agencies and intelligence" .
Kamal said that "the ministry today has dozens of those who carried out or who intended to carry out assassinations," noting that "there is almost full control over this file, the time has come to bear the full responsibility of the Ministry of Interior at the level of the whole of Iraq."
"The intelligence does not still need the support from the American side, and some other countries that have experience in intelligence, in terms of training of officers and associates, and on the communications and information analysis, technical and advanced technology such as those in the United States, and this must be decided by the leadership politics in Iraq. "
The regions of Baghdad in recent months a wave of assassinations and large rose with the death toll and injuries on a daily basis, carrying out most of them using weapons with silencers, which targeted the officers in the ministries of defense and interior ministries and managers.
