Al-Maliki's calls for a review of provincial law

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki called the provincial Act amending the said Al-Maliki in a speech Sunday by attending the first Conference to put the road map on the implementation of amendments to the law on the governorates that are not organized in the territory: the law when many observations must be considered because that would keep Iraq fractured, not "all of the surgery, but that does not mean we are opposed to granting the provinces powers enabling them to exercise their role.

The Prime Minister said that the Iraqi people a coherent Iraq seeks not to Iraq is buffeted by currents and external agendas, noting that this issue need to separate, leaving the Central Government's security and sovereignty and foreign policy and the distribution of natural resources.

"These days we hear voices calling for each province and autonomous policies and are against the law," referring to the experience in the United States: United States federal form but do not have armies and foreign policies, but there is one army and a common external policy.
