Anbar governor vows not to prosecute the gunmen if leave their weapon

Shafaq News / Anbar governor, Ahmed Khalaf al-Dulaimi called on Wednesday, those involved in carrying arms against the security forces to lay down their arms and return to their families.
Dulaimi said in an interview reported for “Shafaq News " , that “ he vows not to prosecute militants legally in case they threw their arms and returned to where their families and do not continue to take up arms”.
Ramadi and Fallujah cities in Anbar have turned to a scene of fierce battles between Islamist militants linked to al -Qaeda on one hand and members of the local police and tribesmen backed by the army on the other hand , killing and wounding hundreds of civilians .
The militants of Islamic militants in Iraq and the Levant have controlled parts of the two cities , taking advantage of the tense atmosphere in the province after security forces lifted tents of Sunni protestors in Ramadi .
