Baghdad (AIN) –A source from the Council of Ministers announced that the government withdrew its contestation for the amended law of Provincial Councils No. 21 of 2008.
Earlier, Government submitted its contestation for the amended law No. 21 of PCs to the Federal Court for "Violating the constitution."
The source stated to AIN "The Government reconsidered its appeal against the law." /End
