Last Iraq Parliament session before Fitir

Thursday Parliament session was the last for the MPs before Fitir Vacation. ****The session was inaugurated by a Kurdish request to add the issue of Turkish bombarding on Irbil and Duhok provinces borders on the session’s agenda.**** Following this request the speaker**** called the committee of security and defense to study the issue and to present a report about the situation after the vacation. ****
During the recess many press conferences were held in which Basra MPs called to hold regular meetings with the Province’s council in order to develop the services. To that, Culture Committee called to amend the schools’ curriculum in a way to include theories in a balanced way about all the Islamic sects.
****To that, the Cabinet performance was discussed during the session with the Ministers of Planning and emigration in order to review the strategic plans for the two ministries for the next four years. The next session was set on September 6.****
