Barzani values the role of Ad Melkert in the management of United Nations work in Iraq

Arbil (news) .. Eighth Massoud Barzani, Kurdistan Region President Melkert’s role in managing the work of the United Nations well, came during a meeting with Ed Melkert representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in the resort of Salah al-Din at the end of his duties in Iraq.
A statement by the Presidency of the Kurdistan region received the Agency (news) a copy of it on Sunday: that the President of the Kurdistan Region eighth role Melkert in the administration of the United Nations well, as well as building strong relationships with Iraqi parties, wishing him success and good luck in his future.
And the statement added that the representative of the Secretary-General Kofi Annan thanked the President of the Kurdistan Region for his support during the performance of his duties in Iraq and the Kurdistan region, declaring that the support and facilities that you have provided to us was enough for the success of the performance of my duties and my role in Iraq.
And the statement that the meeting discussed the developments in political and security situation in the Iraqi arena and the question of bombing of the neighboring countries for the territory of the Kurdistan Region and its impacts on the situation of citizens of the Kurdistan Region and the future of Iraq after the withdrawal of U.S. forces, in addition to the other variables in the withheld and private area of Khanaqin and Saadia and Jalawla.
And said Barzani President of Kurdistan Region to the policies that practiced against the Kurds in those areas, saying they would not leave the Lanark area in any way to implement this program against the citizens in those areas, declaring that he must return who have left these areas and ensure their security and stability and the need for a balance in military power and security in those areas.
