Baghdad (NINA) – *****Leader of the Sadrist Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, demanded the dismissing the Iraq’s Ambassador to Sweden, Husseing Mehdi al-Amiri, for meeting with an American military commander.*****
A statement issued on Wednesday, Aug. 24, by the Sadrist Trend, quoted the Trend’s leader saying, “I have seen pictures of Iraq’s Ambassador in Sweden along with a commander of the American occupation force, and therefore he must immediately be dismissed and considered an agent who must be boycotted.”*****
He added, “The Sadrist Trend’s Politburea carry out this dicision within 48 hours in coordination with the Sadrist’s law makers.” The statement concluded.
