Abadi: oil policy and financial powers of the Council of Ministers
BAGHDAD / Baghdadi News / .. Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Wednesday, that the planning and implementation of public policy of the state, including oil policy and finance is the prerogative of the Council of Ministers.
Ebadi said in a statement received / Baghdadi News /, a copy of it on the sidelines of a meeting with the Secretary General of the mass independent Hussain al-Shahristani, said that "the planning and implementation of public policy of the state, including oil policy and finance is the prerogative of the Council of Ministers in accordance with Article 80 first of the Constitution."
He added that "the President of the Council is the direct executive responsible for the general policy in accordance with Article 78 of the Constitution," pointing out that "the government will make every possible effort to uncover corruption and to hold accountable the corrupt has taken new cabinet decision to that effect in the first session,"
