Interior Minister discuss possibility of security coordination with PM of Qatar

Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al-Ghaban discussed on Wednesday with Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the brotherly relations between the two countries and the possibility of coordinating stances in the security affairs between the two countries.
Ghaban gave, during their meeting today in Doha on the sidelines of the International Conference on “Security and human rights challenges in the Arab region,” a presentation of the security situation in Iraq and the brave stand of the security forces in the face of terrorist gangs .
Sheikh bin Nasser expressed understanding of the security situation in Iraq, stressing Qatar readiness to cooperate with Iraq and create a security system to counter terrorist organizations and mobilize capabilities to defeat the IS and the dangers it poses not only to Iraq but to the entire people of the region.
Interior Minister Mohammed Salem Ghaban met also with a number of Qatari officials, including Ali al-Marri Smaikh head of the human rights organization in Qatar.
During these meetings, they discussed the possibility of strengthening the fraternal relations in various aspects ./End
