Twilight news, Minister of labour and Social Affairs Mohammed Al-Sudani said Iraq looks forward to an ongoing partnership with the World Bank for future work programme establishes a vision for social protection.
Sudan said during his participation in the final review of social protection with the World Bank in Istanbul that despite financial challenges experienced by Iraq, but the Government and Parliament are determined to provide moral and material resources for the implementation of the social protection Act No. 11 of 2014 .
The Ministry of labour to change departmental capacity and even the systems and procedures in order to provide a suitable environment for the application of the Act and to develop a strategy for social security to companies, capacity building and future concepts.
The Minister referred to the delegation of Iraq to participate in the review of the strategic direction and technical support on social protection with the World Bank in Istanbul, from 17 to 19 November.
