The Commission services and reconstruction in the council member Mohammed al-Rubaie told / JD /: "The number of projects for the current year in Baghdad is the 425 projects, work is continuing where the percentage of completion which is good, while the proportion of the delay in these projects 30 percent," adding that "the most prominent reasons for the delay in the implementation of projects due to the withdrawal of supervisors and contractors working on these projects for the delayed disbursement of money and benefits to them. "
He continued: "as well as the deterioration of the security situation in the regions of the parties and the belt of Baghdad, such as coronary and Latifiya and others, because of the terrorist attacks against the projects and abducting many contractors supervisors and workers, with the delay in adoption of the financial budget of the country, which greatly affected the stoppage of a large number of giant capital projects , due to the lack of financial receivables and running out of allocated funds for these projects. "
