Oil and Energy Committee in the House of representatives, Tuesday, that the copy of the oil and gas law for 2011 is still in the Government and not forwarded to the Parliament, stressing that the law recognizes the compatibility between the political blocs in Parliament.
The Committee Member said Aziz Alwan's Attorney/information/the "oil and gas law must be approved by consensus because it will fail otherwise", stating that "there are two versions of the first law in 2007 and another for 2011."
Elwan said "we want an equitable law to regulate the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil and seized the territory's oil law," pointing out that "there is an understanding with the Iraqi Kurdistan and there will be joint meetings between the parties to the conflict".
