Iraq's oil minister says current oil prices are not acceptable
BAGHDAD / obelisk: Iraqi Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said that the current oil prices are not acceptable and that he "should do something" about the prices.
In response to such as the OPEC meeting in Vienna this week, the question of whether the price is acceptable, said Abdul-Mahdi, it is not so.
He said in response to a question whether he should be for OPEC to cut production "should use all means to raise prices."
And statements in favor of cutting production sharply conflict with Saudi Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi, who arrived earlier to Vienna's remarks and said he was "very happy" ahead of the meeting scheduled for 27 November.
