Zebari said: one quarter of the budget in 2015 will be spent on the Ministry of defence

The Finance Ministry called for reforms to eliminate corruption in the ranks of the Iraqi army, noting that a quarter of the budget in 2015 will be spent on the Ministry of defence. Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari Zebari said in an interview with Reuters on Friday, followed by radio Marbad that reforms in the military security establishment against corruption, mismanagement and purge the army of ghost soldiers, figures and other mismanagement, noting the existence of lists of names of soldiers does not appear and is not involved in the fighting but their salaries into the pockets of the leaders. Zibari said to be reviewing all profiles in terms of Setup and hold accountable those responsible for the number of contingent personnel, weapons and salaries, ammunition and food and the essential need to understand. Zebari pointed to some 23% of the proposed budget for the year 2015 that total $ 100 billion for Defense and security when put to the Cabinet very soon.
