Sheikh Mohammed said in an interview / Baghdadi News / that "in the ongoing meetings between the three presidencies, we have agreed to reduce the salaries of senior officials and special grades for closer to the citizen more and show him that we are not only non-staff."
He said Sheikh Mohammed, that "the wages of grades in Iraq approaching each other to support and create a middle class."
Iraq has suffered from considerable variation numbers monthly salaries of state employees, starting from 200 000 dinars per month for workers' daily wages and ends B83 million dinars monthly salary and the President of the Republic (according to media leaks published in 2013).
