Araji reveals plan to reduce number of guards of 3 presidencies
Baghdad (AIN) –The Deputy Premier, Baha al-Araji, revealed a plan to reduce the number of the guards of the three presidencies.
Speaking to AIN, Araji said “More than one Billion USD are spent for the guards of the key officials in Iraq,” noting that “We have a plan to reduce the number of the guards of the three presidencies to be 80 security elements for each the President, Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker, whereas their deputies and vices will get 50 guards each and finally the ministers will get 30 guards each.”
