Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Civil Democratic Alliance, Mithal al-Alosi, urged on Tuesday the international community to deal seriously with Iraq, noting that “A lot of Iraqi funds which were stolen are deposited at Arab or international banks.”
Alosi stated to AIN “A lot of Iraqi stolen funds are deposited at banks of Gulf States, neighboring countries and international banks,” urging the states willing to cooperate with Iraq to “return these funds to Iraq because the opposite is considered “Support for terrorism and the ISIL organization.”
